    Hi,

I discovered that there are 4 snails (hopefully only 4) in my 2ft planted tank, and here's a photo of it. It measured slightly less than 1cm.

I did a search and they look like physa marmorata (a type of common pond snail), but could anyone help me to ID them? Also more importantly, are they harmful or harmless? Not sure whether to remove them or not.

    Thanks in advance!

yes, pond snail. they are harmless but they will breed and you'll get LOTS of them.

    Thanks!

Alamak.. think I better remove some of them before my fish tank turned into a snail tank.
