I have 5 in my community tank. 4 are constantly berried. I have never seen zoes. Assume the fishes are snacking.
This is some info if you plan to try:

Believe the eggs can only hatch in brackish water, in fresh water the shrimps will drop the eggs sooner or later, I have seen my yamato dump the eggs and other shrimps/fishes will feast on it.
They will hatch the eggs in Freshwater!
Once the zoes hatch, the fish, and other tank inhabitants will eat them, or they will get pulled into your filter.
If you want to breed them, it is very time consuming. You need to move the female to a separate tank, with only an airline. Once the eggs hatch (11-16 days @ 28^ C) then remove the female, and put her back in the main tank.
The "Zoes" need to eat green water, but also need low nitrates and high oxygen to grow.
Really I gave up trying to breed them since they are really cheap now!
