    Hi bros....

I'm currently using Resun Chiller CL650.
Will the flow rate affect the cooling system?
My current pump is seems to be underpower which is lower than the expected/require pump rate....

Would this cause the temperature shown in the indicator and the temperature in the tank varies.....

Do you think that the thermostat inside the chiller spoilt?

Any suggestion/advice to debug into this?

    Re: Resun CL650 Chiller question

Hi, I'm using RESUN too but CL280. It was too showing variance at the beginning but I've read through the manual and done the calibration, now, it's about the same between tank and inner thermostat reading. It may not be the thermostat problem as things do have variances...even for so call "should be the same". That's why I believe many people adds in the external thermostatto avoid huge fluctuation of water temperature. As long as it's no too huge, it's fine for me.
Concerning the flowrate, I would give it a "yes" guess if you were to use too low flowrate than recommended. The variance of both reading may be larger. But about 200-300 l/h lower should still be able to coupe i guess. Other things like the power consumption and effectiveness may also differ if you were to compare using recomended and a lower flowrate.
Just my thought though...any experts please do correct me if I'm wrong.
