    Goondu,

I know lar..But what I would like to know why people think that chicken **** can be added to a planted tank to allow plants to grow well? How true is that? If that the case, then it is bye bye TMG. Hahaha..[]

isn't chicken poo and fish poo similar?
if you ignore the high possibility of an algae infested tank as well as killing all your tank inhabitants, you can try.

think teo is using chicken poo to grow their plants.
and chicken poo don't substitute tmg. tmg takes care of micro-elements only.

I think teo use kway sia for emerse only...
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I think back then due to budget constraint...The LFS owner suggested me to use Sera bas fert.....anyhow...how the tiger lotus grow so big is still a mystery to me. Still going at one leaf a week.....Nothing added underneath it...

    do you have base fertilizer?
have you tried adding fertilizer stick into the gravel?
there are quite a number of fertilizer available from lfs which you can try.

    hello gang,

i think lighting and CO2 are important to good and big growth for nymphae sp. i used to have a giant lotus growing in plain gravel and laterite.
give your plant lots of light.

    Hope this helps.

Sera Base Fert(1999)..with TMG dose most of the time at each water change. Typically, every ten days or so... Further, I have also inserted Dennerle E15 into the substrate where the plant is... Think it helps with the release of iron....
