Im sorry for asking a noob question. Do I need to continue my CO2 at night? Or do I switch it off as plants need not use CO2 at night?

Thanks for the fast reply. Will that cause extreme ph change during the day and night?

not really, the change is there but should not be that extreme. I turn of my CO2 at night as well and never have any problem. I believe other did the same as well.

in fact in my opinion, if you did not turn off, wouldn't the build up CO2 cause extreme pH change as well? Not to mention now all flora and fauna generate CO2.

Then I guess you do not have a choice except to turn it on 24 hours. depending on your bio load, you might want to add airstone at night.
