but stainless steel wear and tear to the motor will be more if i not wrong

I find that got quite a few bros accidentally broke the shaft for eheim canister while cleaning including me
I was thinking that if is it possible to replace the shaft to a stainless steel?
reason being, stainless steel not so easy to break when drop and also will not rust?
Any bros here had already did this and care to share where and how much to get 1?

ceramic has lower friction coefficient so the wear on the impeller will be lower.
ceramic is stiffer and less flexible than steel, so this may help to prevent damage to the impeller housing. using stainless steel may allow the impeller to wobble.
