Y618 is pretty much like C328, one stop shop for everything. Small shop with good variety. Prices are reasonable. Only tropical fish (no marine fish).
There is also aqua star at Y934. So you may want to visit both, at least your trip not so wasted!

Im just checking what LFS Y618 carries? Is there oddballs? Is it cheap there? I dont wanna make a waste trip. Can any brohers tell me basically what they sell? Greatly appreciated.

Y618 and Y934 both are in Yishun. The number is the block.
My personal opinon.... Y618 carries more equipment than fish...

Or we can put it this way.
Y618 and Y934 are in more accessible for hobbist in the northern area , while C328 is more accessible for hobbist in the western part.
Almost the same though both shop concept.
In the north, their is another popular aquarium by the name of Seaview Aquarium in Seletar farmway but what about the east? Any good popular aquarium? What can i think of maybe is only OTF in Pasir Ris Farmway which is not bad only... Any better one in the east like C328 and Y618?

I think if we have to poll the most popular LFS in SIngapore it would be handsdown C328??? It is weird. I used to go there before they were famous. Like when I was 10 and the AUntie looked exactly the way she does now. And now I call her Auntie I feel weird. But I have been calling her Auntie since I was young. Haha!. And the husband used to be in the shop now he is never there. He is the one with the moustache.

east lfses are not up to standard. seriously. although he have farm, it is costly. even y618 and c328 is cheaper.

Was at Y618 looking for a cube tank. saw a few with different pricing and specs. price from 30 up. saw at Yun Feng it's $26. then I saw a 1ft tank in the shop and I asked the auntie specifically for a 1ft by 1 ft by 1ft cube tank. They just show me a 1ft tank but did not refer me to those cube tank on display. I asked the china guy how come the 1ft "cube" tank is so cheap ($12) compared to those $30 ones, he said he is not sure, mayb it's the metal bracing or something.
Then I saw a "five plan" tank $16 and asked one of the auntie why that is cheaper than the Gex one ($1. She just say different brand. Funny thing is the five plan tank is curved edge somemore. i thought curved edge is usually more ex. I also pointed to a cube tank which says "glass cover included" but when I asked about the cover, the auntie simply say "no cover".
Wanted to get a cube tank but instead got a 1ft tank by mistake (theirs or mine I don't know). Too late to exchange cos I set it up already.
They have quite a lot of accessories there and prices are reasonable. but service and product knowledge seems lacking (seems like this is the case for many neighbourhood LFS).
C328 is the same but it's forgiveable as they are like always busy.
polyart staff are quite attentive, maybe it's bcos they are not so busy.
