eheim 2224 enough for 4ft tank?

is eheim 2224 enough for a 4ft tank ? intend to keep unplanted cardinal tetras and maybe some shrimps

2224 is rated 700 litres/hour?
A little under-powered in my opinion.

2224 is going to be really insufficient for a 4 ft tank. You need at least another 2224 to be barely sufficient to maintain the water condition. Well, this is based on water circulation. Capacity of filters required also varies linearly with the bioload of your tank.

I dont think so cause im using 2 Pro II 2028 and i find it just adequate.
