    I don't understand why these people treat the coasts and swamps they fish at like rubbish dumps.

    There will always be such idiots around.

    Recently, I brought my kids to the beach at East Coast park and I stumbled upon a line with 2 nasty looking hooks, by my estimate, they are at least size 3/0.

    And this is at the area of the beach which sand castle building classes are conducted regularly.... plenty of bare footed kids running around.

    What a pity to lose that magnificient bird.

    I fish.

    It is also my mantra to all I take fishing to bring everything back for disposal. However, it looks like this is an unfortunate case as the line seem to be tangled at the tree top. Normally, it means that the angler had accidentally made a mistake and have his rig land in the trees. In such a case, retrieving everything may be futile, and this seems to be the case here.
