AQ T Shirts.......

Hi all,

I understand that there is a poll on whether we would like to have a AQ T shirts for members.

There were a lot of suggestions by there are no update since Jan 09.

I am a new member and would love to have a gathering to distribute the T shirts and get to know folks in the forum. (some sort of a chit chat session)

I can offer my help to get this done. (not in design , I am engineering trained hence suppose to be quite square )

PS: I am not a T shirt manufacture or anything like that and I am not looking to making profit from this.

I'd be interested in purchasing a roundneck or Polo-Tee in support of AQ.

Perhaps a someone in the T-shirt printing business could step forward and provide these shirts to AQ at cost or close to cost?

Actually, we've been tossing this around for years. Unfortunately, the team keeps getting waylaid by off-line life.

The other issue we face is the lack of orders or interest. Usually, only a handful are interested and that makes the shirts too expensive.

I believe that we can try having an AQ T-shirt again.
Although I only joined this forum and hobby in October,
I feel that it is a great family amosphere here, and the
veterans and experts are all willing to help those newbies
and beginners like me.
If someone is willing to start the ball rolling again,
the response and interest may be enough for a decent
bulk order of the T-shirt. Some members may be willing
to draft out the some designs, and we can have a poll
to select the most popular one.
Please reserve a XL or XXL for me.

no offence, but if you are still waiting for an unanimous "Yes" from all the
members here, then you may have to wait long long also don't have.
Members don't want the T-shirt for different reasons, maybe they just want to enjoy the hobby quietly or they feel the same as you, there will always be people who are just sitting on the fence waiting for others to take action.
We have to look at whether it is worth the effort, money and time to do a T-shirt, but at the end the day, the "privileged" action type will get it, those never respond won't get it.

Hi All,

In order to cut the cost of the Tshirts, can we appoach the manufactures to sponsor part of the cost of the T shirts and in turn we will place their logo on the T shirts?

It is a win win situation for both, we pay less, they get to advertise.

Non taken. We are not waiting for unanimous 'yes'. That will never happen.

You are correct about the time and effort. In the past it wasn't. Recently, it has changed, but the plans have been de-railed along the way. Let me go see if we can get the train back on track.

What I'll like is car decals... like those given out by the radio stations. Can stick on the tank too.
