My Planted tank

Tank Size: 36" x 18" x 18"
Laterite at the bottom with river sand on the top
CO2 - 2 BPS
Lighting: 150 w MH

Flora: Java ferns(narrow & winlow), Crypts, Anubis, (nana), Hemianthus Micranthemoides
Fauna: Tetras,sword tail,mollys, Rasboras

how old is the tank?

The tank is 10 years old. The new additions of anubias and HM are 1 month old which I bought from petmart while I was in SG.

Yup,

thats true. I clean the glass every alternate day. Also I used to run the tank with 3 filters before I bought an Eheim 2234

Given ur tank size and ur choice of plants,is the 150w MH overkill?
Wouldn't it cause an algae outbreak with that type of light?
