    heyhey~
    i got this shrimp from my pet store here in toronto recently, labeled as amano shrimp. however this shrimp is not as transparent as amanos, and it has a cross pattern on its back.

    can anyone help ID this shrimp? thanks

    Is there anyway you can take the photo of it when it's closer?
    Remember to use macro function w/o flash if ur tank is bright enough.

    i took it with my cell phone. so its not clear. will try again next time it comes out of hiding. haha

    its around 2cm long. slightly yellow tint to it. it has a light solid yellow strip running down its back, and half way down its back there's another horizontal strip, so its like a cross.

    sorry for the bad picture! =.= no good camera at hand for now....

    looks like a malayan shrimp or a wild cherry shrimp
