bloated tummy disease?

Recently, my friend's siamese fighter is suffering from this disease in which the stomach becomes very bloated without overeating, what could be the cause of it? How can it be helped? thanks.

Thanks but it is not dropsy, the scales does not portrude. Its tummy is so large it looks like it will burst anytime. My friend and i have never seen this before.

uhm. yes the tummy is a bit translucent. But no point talking about it now , i was told the fish is dead last week.
