Does anyone here have any methods that are not too drastic to fit on clip-on accessories to tanks with frames?

eg. A number of Nisso, GEX, 5-plan tanks come with a frame around them. Alot of clip-on accessories (fan, lights, etc) have very narrow gaps to the clips and cannot fit directly onto the tank (eg. Aquazonic lamps).

So far, I have only come across Dymax fans that have clips that are wide enough.

The issue is that I have a number of tanks with frames and also a number of accessories with clips that are not wide enough. Has anyone managed to fit these tanks up w/o extreme modification and still manage to have them look good?

for my GEX tank, i had to saw off part of the frame to fit my HOF, clip on fan and light.
use lights with leg stands, canister filter and chiller will not have such problems.

Erm, bro this is just a idea/suggestion.

The clips are large enough for a thickness of 1-3cm?
I saw a post that DIY'ed a stand for his clip-on lights from acrylic. You might want to follow suite, but of course you might wish to improvise and have fun brain-storming.

If i come across it again, i'll put up the link for you.

    Have fun DIY'ing
