yes most likely they will crossbreed and the offsprings will not be red in color for some.
Recently got some Malayan shrimps from somebody and thought of putting into my tank with is currently with Cherries, Sakura and CRS.
I am ok with Cherries cross with Sakura as they are red in colour anyway and i am quite sure that CRS would not cross with them.
Initially i was told that Malayan is a different kind of shrimps which would not cross with the shrimps i am having now until suddenly someone told me that there will be a chance that it would cross breed.
Luckily i had yet to put in the Malayan's so can anybody clarify that? Thanks in advance.

Yes, they are able to cross breed and the natural colour will come back in their offsprings
So Malayan will cross will only CRS or Cherries or both also high possiblities? I thought shrimps are divided into Cardina & Neocardina which they would not cross so that is why i am putting Cherries with CRS now.
Crystal Red Shrimps is under cardina gene.
Malayan, cherries, sakuras is under Neocardina gene.
therefore, u cannnot put malayan with cherries and sakuras
