Yeah, Taeniacara candidi belongs to one of my likes too!. And they are another very colorful genus in dwarf cichlid. Evolutionz, i hope you order more from C328., don't give up to them!

This is my F1 back then.

    Re: Taeniacara candidi.

Great and good luck. Female T. candidi would have a rounded tail instead of a spade tail, easiest way to sex them because they are as colorful as the male otherwise.

    Re: Taeniacara candidi.

Yes, due to their constrain condition the fishes there stress a lot..
Best is the choose properly before buying or do some research first.
IMO best time to buy is when the stock arrive fresh that way won't stress too much and you can get those healthier ones.
Hope to heard great news from you soon.

    Re: Taeniacara candidi.

true.. i hate the way c328 place the fish though.. look at the cories.. cramped and looks badly stressed. anyway, my male looks like his ready to breed.. keep flaring at the female. and his finage and colouration had improved alot too.. ventral fins keep getting longer and longer!

female wise, still abit shy.. but eating alot of live daphina when i feed.. im pumping live food now to induce breeding.. pH stands at 6.4 stable.
