    the price there selling for gex 6090 at c328 is enough to buy a ehiem 2222 so you might want to consider again

    FYI.
    Was thinking of using this and fill it with sponge as a mechanical filter, then i my eheim just load it with bio-media only. That way only need to wash the pre-filter regularly and leave the eheim alone for long time. Idea??

    i have the above prefilter. my comments..

    The good:
    The canister media wont be messed up when you want to change the sponge.
    More space to put more media in the canister.
    Its cheap. bought at S$25 at most lfs. now i think the price changed?

    The bad:
    the damned thing broke. The nozzle is very very very very very very brittle. one wrong move, the whole thing broke off. -.-' whats more IM A GIRL! i don;t have much strength and the noozle broke.

    Another thing. this is a japanese product BUT manufactured in China. Designed in Japan, manufactored in China. The inlet and outlet is 100% similar to other China brands like jebo. Enough said.

    Wow dear brothers.. I raised this thread again because i just broke the damn nozzle head.. Do you know if there is any replacement parts for that?
