    hi guys,

    was wondering is it possible to remove the black top frame that comes with those five plan tanks?

    probably not, it there to reinforce th glass. If you notice 5 plan glass is very thin. it probably will fell apart without those black frame

    impossible. The frame is glued dead with the glass. I tried once for some project, the glass cracked before I could pry the black frame off.

    Don't bother. The black frame is what is holding the tank together.
