The sinking pellet I meant for the otos was snapped up by other fish (white cloud) in the tank before the otos have a chance to touch it.

I googled and people in the West feed their otos with zucchini and lettuce.

What other way can I feed my otos? Any local vege that is suitable for them?

Thanks for the information on cucumber. I will try it later. As for Zucchini, I will give it a pass as I don't think my wife will ever buy it or use it in her cooking.

Possible to try local vege? Bayam, kangkong, etc I have lots of them in the fridge.

I use nori as used for sushi. I cut off a strip and sink it using a stone or piece of drift wood. It looks a right mess after a few hours but the Otos eat it and seem to enjoy it.

Nori? as in those used to wrap sushi? Aren't they salted and added with food additive? Are they safe to use?
