Just to clarify
immersed form = totally submerged in water
emersed form = emerging out of water (ie. soil wet, with leaves in contact with air)
And so, yes. Emersed form will grow faster as CO2 is not an issue. But by being true or semi-aquatic plant, the surrounding needs to be preferably high in humidity.
Maybe you can find a way, for eg. use a container with transparent food wrap with some holes on top, to lock in most of the moisture. 13 watts should be enough. But sunlight is better![]()
