on/off lighting

i did not switch on my lights for bout 4 days liaoz (due to some reason)... will there be any side effects on my plants ? if i do switch on is only bout a couple of mins only....

Anyway, my personal view would be, don't introduce CO2 especially if your room or house(where the tank is) is rather dark, . Might kill the fishes and the plants, use a normal air pump instead.

Your plants will start declining soon. Worst case, plants will start dying off.

If u did not on the lights because u were not at home then u should consider getting a timer. Analog 1s that i'm using cost <$20.
