better not put apistos and CRS together in the same tank dude, mine cleared it all up.. thank god they were only yamato shrimps!
Beauty is in the eyes of the beerholder.
Wah Yamato so big they also can eat?
Unless you are feeling rich, I don't think you would want to sacrifice your crs as apisto snacks.

Hahaha. Ok then no CRS. I will set up a separate CRS tank only in the future![]()
I once kept big amano shrimp with juvenile betta, all the shrimps became legless and killed shortly.
I doubt this....
I have more than 14 pairs of apistogrammas in my 4ft. Yet my apistogrammas com well with my yamatos. The trick is that you got to buy bigger sized ones, I once brought a pack of 100 juveniles yamatos, all were killed shortly in one day. hope this helps

shrimp always is a natural food source for fish.
haha its like a delight to the apisto..![]()
Agree with kenneth. My large size Yamatos were all apistogramma safe while all the malayans, cherry shrimps became a good source of live feeds. So will apisto eat CRS? A definite YES!

Now swimming: Plecos and Apistogrammas
one more concern is that CRS prefer temperatures below 25 degrees, whereas apisto may not be comfortable in that temp range.
Anything that can feed into their mouth they will do so
If keeping Exotic shrimps are easy then there will not be Exotic prices.
