Put the culture in the fridge and the flies will "go to sleep". You can then shake them out into another tub and then feed to the fish (still cold). They should wake up fast due to their small size so work fast.

    Good luck

I use to feed my fishes maggots before they turn into flies.. Just use a brush to gently brush them out and feed...

Maggots are also nutritious because they survived from your culture but since they're also high in fat, feed moderately.

Thanks for the advice, i will take noted.
Problem is they don't move much unlike worms and sometimes don't attract the fish attention during feeding..
    Do you encounter this?
