    hi

My second attempt at keeping a bluefin notho killifish, (Nothobranchius rachovii) failed this evening. I am hoping an experienced killie keeper may be able to share some advise.

    Here is my setup:
    - 33 liter CO2 planted community tank (1 betta, some rasboras, otto, golden algae eater, snails)
    - PH 7
    - KH 7
    - GH 7-9
    - Posphate 1PPM
    - No3 (nitrate) < 10
    - 27 degrees c.

I fed tubifex worms the night before which was the first time they got live food in a couple of weeks (normally they are fed a combination of fish flakes).

I have some more killiefish eggs, but before i embark on my next attempt I will appreciate if any of you can give me some advise about the suitability of my setup to support killiefish.

I am keen to learn so by all means suggest some sites or books to read too!

    cheers,

    -dee

    Re: killiefish death

Hi deeloke, i don't have any experience keeping killies yet.. But this website offers a lot of guideline and care.. And lots of nice pics

If you're trying to breed them, i suggest you remove your betta, some rasboras, golden algae eater. Saw a nice video about their breeding.. Interesting..!
