    Went a lfs over the wknd and saw many packs of orange shrimps. is that really orange shrimps just like the yellow shrimps?? i have a lot of orange sakuras(those that did not made it to the red version). is there a difference? their size are very similar. Price also similar. unlike yellow shrimps.

    No, they are not orange version of the cherries.
    Orange shrimp is from the Caridina family.
    Cherries and Yellow are from the same family, Neocaridina.

    If you look closer, you will see a difference in their body shape.
    Orange has a leaner body with a slight "hump" on its back.

    When i have time, will post a picture of my orange for your comparison.

    take note orange shrimp give birth to larave which needs black water .
