Possible to attach HC to rocks??

Saw some pic of HC on rocks. Was wondering how they do it, is it they attach to wire mesh then secure to rocks or tie to rock?? First time handle HC so no idea if it will take root to the rocks.

If tie on lava rocks yes since they are fertile and root can penetrate into it. HC may held on granite for few weeks but don't think will last long.

Best way to attach to lava or wood is to keep them emers with plenty of light and good nutrition and high humidity.
While i was working as an aqutic gardner i made a bunch of them.

Heard that some people put power sand or old ADA soil that turned into mud onto the rocks, then plant HC on them. When the HC grows over and covers the soil patch, it will look like HC is grown on rocks . Hope this helps.

Yes that is possible, I have tired that but it would not root on the rock just on the thin layer of soil.
