Should be the preset on the controller board as with most commercial chiller. Don't think it has the differential setting as external thermo controllers
I got a Teco RA 200 chiller. It said "The data of electronic unit preset by the manufacturer are:- Differential 1ºC above or below the temperature set by the user". How do i set the differential to 2ºC i want? Or the variance is only ±1ºC?
Eg: from 25 to 27 the chiller will starts to kickin instead of 26 to 27.
Thanks!

Hey, i just found out it can be set on the control panel. Now it'll kickin at the differential of 2ºC i want.
They didnt show you how to do it in the manual, only said can be preset by user.

haha another bro with ra 200
Press both the up and down button simultaneously. a menu will appear that says something like HF, then theres a range of numbers from -1 till 9. 0 is every 1 degree 3 is 2. Much credit due to adrian![]()
Yes, bro Cross has answered the question.Funny thing is i wrote an email to Teco company on this matter and it said it cant be done. lol.
Below is what they wrote to me.
"Adrian,
On that control panel the differential is hard wired and cannot be changed by the user. This was done because on other units power surges could cause the differential to go haywire. You can change from F to C (or back) by holding the down arrow for about 10 seconds.
Sorry I can’t help you make the change you want.

I have read it but still haven't understand
the chiller is working non-stop but the temp in the chiller and at the tank stay the same
it is like the chiller is working in "neutral" the temp in the tank not warming nor cooling
I set the temp on 24 it stay on 25also working non-stop
at the tread you added it is about the chiller often kicking mine is working all the time![]()

Wow your ambient temperature is 34i think i will live underground if it were so hot at home
At least we know the chiller is working. able to chill from 34 to 25. I think what blue is trying to say is that even though your chiller shows 25, it is actually taking the reading from its reservoir, not the actual temperature in your tank. May be 'tricked' to continue running even though your tank has reached 24. Regarding your flowrate, the manual states 400lph as min and for a 14gal, the model is able to chill up to 10 degrees
