ID Shrimp Pls, white shrimp elongated body with slight hump

yesterday night i isolate them in small tank as i notice their droppings is red color like those small worm parasite... i got a shocked when i saw that.. still not sure if it's a real dropping or wormy... but anyway better be safe than sorry.. regret now buying these shrimps... now they turn me off.... but dont know how to get rid of them.. of wait until they died off??

just asking you to take precaution, but please don't regret.
perhaps our judgement could be wrong too, we don't know for sure.
they are marketed as white shrimps, right?

as you bought them as pets, i hope that you continue to keep them as pets , just in a separate tank. (or... put up for adoption to some willing party.)
do monitor and update us on how they are doing, perhaps you could prove us wrong.

as for their red poop, please do check again. maybe you fed them some red coloured food.

hahhah yah got abit scared yesterday when realize their dropping red color thinking it was parasite.. but anyway i just isolate them and see how it goes.. maybe will consider for adoption.. not to worry im not flushing them down the toilet... hahaha

bad news.. 2 of them died when i checked this morning, so left 3 in the isolated mini tank. dont know what cause the death.

Could you try this out when you encounter anymore dead?
Take a toothpick and try to poke on the cotton-like body. Would they feel more harder than non cotton-like portion, more like a hard sponge?

If yes, then this is more or less confirmed to be parasite infection.

yup i poke it... is not hard... it's soft as normal dead shrimp. maybe one of the reason for the death is water change.
