just got a bottle of excel. heard it would help my plants look nicer since i don't use compressed co2.

and excel is like co2. so i used it. added abit more than the given dose. guess what...

my god a flow of white worms came out into the water. as if they were feeding or something...

gonna put more excel see what happens since my tank don't have much fishes. and i just want to know what will happen to those ugly worms!!!

Hi. You can get juvenile Siamese Algae Eaters to help you with your worm problem. They are cheap and good. However, do not get Chinese or Golden Algae Eaters as they would prefer to eat fish food.
Corydoras - Sterbai, Leopard, Bronze, Albino, Pepper, Similis, Pygmaeus, Habrosus, Hastatus, Tail-Spot
Loaches - Clown, Red-Tailed Squirrel, Yoyo, Zodiac, Crimson, Banded/Spotted Kuhli, Zebra, Blue Botia, Kubotai
Others - L181, C/S/GAEs, Otos, Dwarf/Thai/Honey Gouramis, Spotted/Smiling Cat, Shark Cat, Percula Clown (SW), Cinnamon Anemonefish (SW)...
Happy Shrimps - CRS, Sakura/RCS, Malayan, Yamato, Green Shrimps, Dancing Shrimp (SW)

You indicated you have only a few fishes and you have an infestation of white worms, are they planaria? I think you have a problem of overfeeding if that is the case.

Worms are sign of bad water chemistry in your tank.

nope they are white fine stringy type of worms. i happen to keep fishes that don't really eat them.

water chem is fine for me. everything is growing and usual water changes. food wise i have yamato and snails to clear the left overs.

guess i just need something to complete my food chain.

but i can't effort a big bad fish otherwise the rest of my creatures will be eaten...

guess i'll just manage the water change...
