Maybe your HC is emersed form , which is not easy to convert to submersed form. Your CO2/Light/Dosing might not be in good harmony, resultiing in poor conditions for HC to convert.

I never succeeded in converting HC from emersed to submersed form even in my 26deg tank with 4x39W lighting, 4 bps CO2 24/7 and EI dosing, which every other plants in it grew like weed. However I never have any problem when I have used HC in submersed form.

Some aquarists did tried jump start the HC in a "minimal water" method. They only changed to aquarium only when the HC is thriving. I did planted the HC in my garden with great success, but I never tried to convert them before.
Yes bro , mine is the emersed form HC. no wonder i cant get them to grow well. so where can i get those submerse HC ?

    Hi Guys ,
have anyone experience the glosso bottom leave turning yellowish while the top part are greenish. is it the lack of light for the bottom ? or i need to add some fertilizers into the soil ?

Your glosso seems to be growing quite high. When i first started planting my glosso, they all turned yellow too but only for a few days. After that, they turned back green. I guess they were getting used to the conversion from emeresed to submersed state. it could be that you are experiencing the same thing. If not maybe due to the lack of light.

Glosso grows upward because the light is not sufficient enough. it's fighting for light with other plants.

Thanks bro , how shall I prune it? Can I just cut off the long stem and replant it into the soil?

you trim first and see whether new shoot grow side way or grow up. if grow up then you need to do something with the light

Actually it's ok if it's growing upwards. If you don't have enough glosso, just trim 1 stem with 2 leaves, then plant it some where else. The newly cut plantlets will survive. In short, it's an economic way to grow glosso, even though it's kinda slow.

    Thanks bro ,
yes , i tried by planting this way but it seems like the glosso wouldn't grow in the denser form and cover up the empty area.
