Recently introduced a pair of Apisto Agassizii Red into my 2ft tank ,
set up used is really simple ,
ADA Africana , driftwood with various moss , nanas ,ferns to provide ample hiding place for the pair , sorry no pictures to show , no camera

anyway , i am curious , will the male be abused when mating?
my male seemed to be badly injured after 3days of introducing them into the tank , and the female is always guarding the cave...
could be possible that they have mated?
i'm quite worried for my male.

    sorry new to apisto.

I guess they have already mated, the female must be very bright yellow or orange in colour guarding her eggs and prevent the male from coming any near her.
The only thing you can do now is to observe whether the male having any serious injure if yes better seperate him from the tank and let him recover first...

Thanks for replying bro , I will continue to monitor the pair, and will definately take out the male later when I reach home later at night , hopefully no casualty....... *fingers crossed*
How long does it take for the eggs to hatch and to see the fries coming out of the cave?

Hi misery, depending on water temperature, they eggs will need 2-3 days of incubation before they hatch. Newly emerged fry will feed from their egg sacs and require 4-5 days of additional development before they are free swimming. During these 4-5 days, they will be kept inside the cave or moved around among pits dug out by your female.
For me, i didn't really count the days.. I see the colour of my female and behaviour.

Around 8-9 days in total for them to be free swimming. Feed the adults frozen bloodworm for a bigger hatch.

Hi will suggest that you prepare to hatch BBS unless you want to buy it from LFS. So far only C328 polyart have in the west..

hi bro , you mean i should start preparing BBS for the fries ? or for the pair? sorry if i dont sound very smart i dont mind going to c328 often might get some good catch sometimes..
is it normal for them to behave like that? the female keeps on harrassing the male , even snatching food from him ..

i've decided to add in some fishes to the tank , dont know if what im doing is correct or not , but both the male and female seems to be in the same cave now..female tend to come out to chase fishes away from the cave every now and then , is this normal?

the fishes i've had introduced were 10 pieces of black tetra , 5 Corydoras sterbai..
should i remove them from the tank?

You should remove all of them.
They are either egg eaters (Corydoras sterbai) or fries eaters (black skirt tetra)

after taking out those fishes ( tetras n cory-s ) , my male is now chasing the female.... is this behavior normal?

i've seen mirrors placed in the tank with apisto , what's the purpose? is it just for flaring?

Looks like the normal mating process.. Once you see the female start chasing the male away from a location, they probably have mated..
