Should be fine if the fish is doing well. If there is mould like thingy start becoming bigger by the day.. it is fugus.
the patch(not spots) are found on the fins of the cardinals. if you notice its at the top fin. i noticed it today after adding in malayans shrimps. i wonder does that have got anything to do with it. fish is currently swimming well, schooling and feeding like pig. can anyone pls help on how to treat or should i euthanize to save the rest.

change 20 % of water for 2 to 3 days so be cure. water condition turn bad due to your shrimps. Is there is dead shrimps must remove, if not worse.
Treat your fishes like your baby. The sign and symptom is the same but cannot talk.

thanks for the help but the fish died. later identified by me to be anchor worms. wipeout my tank.
fighting_fish, thanks for the update. this will help others. i am surprise that this could be fatal. as it turns out - anchor worms.
