the patch(not spots) are found on the fins of the cardinals. if you notice its at the top fin. i noticed it today after adding in malayans shrimps. i wonder does that have got anything to do with it. fish is currently swimming well, schooling and feeding like pig. can anyone pls help on how to treat or should i euthanize to save the rest.

change 20 % of water for 2 to 3 days so be cure. water condition turn bad due to your shrimps. Is there is dead shrimps must remove, if not worse.
Treat your fishes like your baby. The sign and symptom is the same but cannot talk.
