What if i have 3.2 watts per gallon but the colour temp is less than 6500k which is the min requirement for growing plant(if i'm not mistaken...pls clarify if i'm wrong).

    Is colour temp important?

info:using single 55watts pl not sure how much the kelvin is & single 15watts pl with 6500k is it sufficient for 2ft x 1ft x 1.5ft.

Pls help me understand more on it.

Is aquarium salt a must for planted tank?

    Thank you.

important they are, but plants grow in most kelvin.. u wouldnt wanna have yr tank look too yellowish nor blue.. plus studies has shown that sunlight is below 10000k and above a certain kelvin... it really depends on the spectrum of the light tube

dun quite understand the questions... have to read thru the FAQ?
