    Hey guys,

I'm considering getting a second hand chiller to breed CRS. Is it ok to get a chiller that was used for a marine tank to chill freshwater?

If not, how long do I have to run it to 'wash' away all the salt content or it's not advisable to do it at all?

should not be a problem. just look out for salt water corrosion, if any.
a few rounds of flushing should get all the salt out of the system.
