Can you guess how many types of shrimps in there? Crystal black shrimp and Amano shrimps were taking cover. Other than that most of them can be identified.... If your eyes are sharp enough, you can also spot one snowball baby

... you have almost all the shrimps in the market. are you not concerned that some of them will crossbreed?

It is Thailand moss tied to an ornament stone bridge. I got this from C328 but now the Thailand moss has grown like mad as you see here.

Cannot resist. I saw colorful doing the same thing in their showtank. Anyway, if they cross-breed they will not be released or sold outside my house to spoil the eco system. I just want to keep them within my boundary and enjoy shrimp diversity.

I use photobucket to store my pic. You need to register in photobucket (FOC). From there, you can select the image to post it here using "INSERT IMAGE". Make sure you have IMG to lock in your image ie.
Do a "post preview" to see if it is successful before actual posting lor.

Interesting tank. Did you install fan? YOur tank seems bigger than mine and I wonder those red fish, are they safe for your shrimp? You might want to add couple of snails..

Re: Shrimps Community

the red fish is a red platy which is a livebearers and i had small unwanted snails. i dunno bout its behavior but so far it didnt disturb my shrimps... and i didnt install any fans.. but wen they arent ard, i wud live it to open air, no aircon. but only fan. the latest temp i think i had was like super cold water.. afraid it affects the fishes and shrimps.. but now my grass are like dieing.. turning brown.. stress.. how to insert a small CO2 tank to pump up the tank....

Your plants look like there isn't enough light. I switched on the light for at least 6 hours daily.
