Best I can think of Chatuchak Market. Everyone in Bangkok knows it, and I'm sure if you ask they will tell you how to get there.

I've heard its huge, gigantic, crazy enormous and the like. There is a section that sells aquatic fish / plants, should be interesting if you're so inclined.

Want to tompang back some nice downoi for me for this great tip also can!!
