I guess you get the volume of water in your nano wrong, it should be in litres

I wanted some ideas for my 24 gallon nano cube 18 by 19.7 (inches). and also was going to buy a piece of driftwood w/ riccia but heard riccia is messy and bad but it looks good. The riccia is already on the wood but trying to find wood w? fissidens.
Thanks Alot Nathan Sandovalor

91 litres![]()
riccia is not messy unless you got shrimps or fishes which will disturb it.

Thanks but I think It looks great but I might stay with fissidens also putting tonina bellums and dwaarf hair grass in tank.![]()
24 gallon is certainly not a nano sized tank my friend =)

well it is the JBJ sold and called by the name Nano Cube. LOL.![]()

The 24 gallon JBJ "Nano Cube" is not that much of a Nano tank. True, it is a self-contained unit with filter and lights inbuilt/included, but it's definitely not nano-sized.
The name is just a trade mark. I've seen this particular tank during the last Aquarama and it's fairly large. Your measurements correspond roughly to a 1.5 ft tank.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
i love self sustaining tanks! good luck with that. remember to upload photos!

sure i will upload by mid. january.

24 Gallons for the purposes of Marine tanks (which this JBJ is generally used for) is considered nano :P

nicos, just goto C328, you will see both moss, riccia, selling cheap there. 2nd shop near coffee shop, you will find the riccia coming in pieces of $2 or $5. Make your decision whether it is messy or not after you seen them.
Those people who are planning to scape on their own then will buy a packet either for tying or direct planting using specialised tongs. If you are not keen in doing either of these, you can go for the blocks one at 2nd shop. If you want to buy a packet one then either one of the two, you will find it.
Good vegetable hunting! 26 Dec sounds like a good hunting day.![]()

haha thanks. I think i will stick with riccia because it has already grown on the driftwood.

Oops...forgot you in Malaysia.

actually san francisco, California. U.S.A. Thanks any ways though.

=P Good place to buy solar panels!! ($USD250), but with transport cost to SG, its double!!!nicos, you can run a full 3x21w panels with 3xdeep cycle rechargeable battery and run a fan for 6-8hrs for free every night!!! On the technical side, the price include solar charge controller and power invertor.
