what kind of reactor are you using? (internal or external, brand and model?) and what type of flow rate do you have going through it?
What is your tank size and are you using a solenoid or running it 24/7?

Hi guys,
I'm running my CO2 at 3bps, however I noticed that more than half my reactor is filled with CO2. Doesn't that mean that the CO2 isn't dissolving, or rather it isn't dissolving fast enough?
What should I do to increase the efficiency of the reactor?
Thanks!
Ervine

Bro you may wish to show a picture of your reactor.
Mine is those UP brand (internal via canister output) doing 2bps but i never get more then 1/3 filled with Co2.
Oh yah, i using DIY Co2 from 2x1.5L bottles....

flow is important, how many l/h did you use to drive the reactor? Also the tank size, you might already have enough Co2 dissolve in the water thus unable to dissolve more.

Mine's an internal reactor, donno what brand, cannot remember already.
I'm running a small Eden submersible pump through it (which is why I suspect there's not enough flow).
My tank is 3ft long, CO2 is on solenoid, tank is packed full with plants.

your plant look healthy, you drop checker color is green. I guess it should be ok or you might want to increase the pump flowrate

I think it is ok, it is just that your CO2 is pushing the water level down. Check at night when your CO2 is off and you will see the water level will rise again. I am using a Jaleco same thing.![]()
