Hi got this plant from a pond, the leaves were quite short when i found it. Now It's growing very well in my tank and I am wondering what is the name of this plant.

It's the plant right in the center of the pic.

looks like a Echindorous bleheri or some sort of Amazon sword. And you found this in a pond?

I thought it's some kind of sword too. In the pond where I saw them, they are rather small, like some water lettuce burried in the mud, probably just starting to grow when the pond started to fill up with water. The roots were probably not damaged when the pond dried up during the last few weeks when there was no rain.

Some of the leaf exhibit purplish red color. But when I put it in my aquarium, it turns green. It seems to be growing better in my aquarium then in the pond.
