Hi , can anyone help me ... I just cycled a one feed tank and i have added too much of the benificial bactrial and hence created mould ( white fluffy subsantance ) ... Its all cover on the bedding of ADA soil ... Can anyone teach me how to clear them off inspite of redoing the whole tank ... Any fishes could clear them ? As i'm using ADA soil hence water is more acidic and so ramshorns tends to die easily so i couldn't use that ...

Another Question is , after the mould is cleared , will the soil be with alot of harmful bactrial that will harm shrimps like CRS ?

Please Advise ... Thanks alot in advance ....

What's the lighting for your tank? I used to have similar mould problems for my newly cycled tanks as well but they went away after I increased my lighting intensity. Not sure if it would work for you though. Also, I suspect it could also be that the cycling was not complete. Anyone can advise?
