If you're doing a background wall with corkbark, you can bundle the roots of the plants in spaghnum moss. Tie it up with fishing line and secure to the back temporarily with bamboo skewers. Alternatively, you can use faux styrofoam background found at fish shops and the method with bamboo skewers will be much easier.
2. If background using cork bark and plant with java moss (where I can purchase from ) insert with toothpick will it grow.
Your java moss which can be bought from most fish shops will definitely grow provided you have a lid or glass cover on the tank to provide enough humidity for it to take off. Just on a note, when you place the java moss on the corbark, make sure you pad it down so there's contact between the 2 surfaces. Once in place and done, spray it thoroughly to ensure adequate soaking of the corkbark. This will provide a moist base for the java moss to sufficiently adhere and grow on to.
