Holes in leaves

What are the likely causes of having holes in the leaves? what kind of deficiency is present? The leaves don't turn yellow, they are still green. Mostly affected ones are the echinodorus bleheri and hygrophila polysperma. Those younger leaves are OK, however, holes appear when the size increases. It happens about 2 months now. I've not added anything new inside.

I am currently using Dennerle Gold 7 (weekly, sometimes forget) and Tetra FloraPride (fortnightly). No major algae problems except for some tolerable green spot algae. I've checked the water parameters: pH 6.6, kH 3-4, phosphate and N03- & No2-(undetectable /negligible). I didn't checked for the Fe, since I thought I'm already adding the lquid ferilizer frequently.

In my 2.5 ft tank there 2 otos, 3 pencil fish, abt 30 malayan shrimps and 15 neon tetras. No snails present, b'coz there is one puffer fish to keep them in check. Lighting is 1x 18 PL + 2x 18 PL lights, running for 10 hours.

What else should I check?

Should be potassium deficient. Try dosing with K?

NO3, PO4 not detactable... not so good.

Got to get the NO3 & PO4 levels (5~10ppm & 0.5~0.8ppm respectively) up too otherwise you may face problem soon.

thanks. I'll look at them also. During my last check the values are all less than the optimal values. Do I look at dosing them too?

Dose them with KNO3 and KH2PO4. Or if you have dr mallick's lush grow aqua, that will do it also(for NO3)
