    hi bros,

    i am wondering which fan and what brand is suitable for a 3ft tank? the temp i'm looking for is about 27degs. Any bro out there using any fan for a 3ft tank and has any recommendations please kindly let me know which brand and model of fan =) thanks!

    I guess any fan will do but I am using profantec model. Quiter than other brand. As for Temp, it depends on the weather. On cool days, i achieve 27deg but on hot days, gosh it can be 29deg.

    Like ,jt1 say any fan will do i get my 120mm at Na....

    running on 4 ft x 2 ft on hot wheather is 31 degree....before...
    runing on 2 fan temp dop down to 27 dergee on normally wheather...after..
    if u turn ur light temp went up 28 (maybe 29)..but denpen what ligthing u using..
    if u serious on planting is better to have a chiller

    The best and cheapeast fan i ever used was a DIY fan. Go to Sim Lim, look for a suitable DC powered fan and matching power adaptor (go for the cheap ones that output only the correct voltage) and viola, a super quiet tank fan. You can also cable tie the fan to your tanks light stand.

    I gave up with fans and just got myself a chiller today. Resun CL-280 from NA, going at $280. Pretty easy to install.

    whao that's great! however, i'm only a student and i don;t think i want to jump into something as expensive as a chiller for now and the electricity bill too would see a jump! so i think i'll stick to my 3 watt fans for now =) running two fans in the day for now! hope it works.
