Do you notice the cloudiness after you the driftwood or it is cloudy all the time? If it is the former, then your filter should clear it in due time. It is normally to observe some soil to spin around and make the water cloudy when you relocate a driftwood. What soil are you using anyway?

    Re: clowdy water

i use this product from ocean free called all clear (if didn't rememer wrongly). i put abit more than the recommanded quantity within an hour or two, my tank is all clear.

use to have this problem when i started out long time ago in secondary school too.

been using the same product and same brand. maybe you can give it a try.

note : best is to remove any creatures in your tanks before you put any medicine.

If it is always cloudy, check your filter to see if the fine filter wool is trapping all the small particles. Pack in extra filter wool into those gaps.

If it becomes cloudy after shifting plants then it is normal. It should clear in an hour or so.

    Cheers!

Fadhly, try doing a minor wter change (30&#37 and also clean your filter.
You can put in some Bacter 100 to stabilize the water.

    Re: cloudy water

If its cloudy all the time perhaps check Ammonia levels.

If its really due to waste particles suspended in water then may I suggest using Seachem Purigen.

This product is the best at polishing water as well as its other benefits.

Its not cheap BUT it can be re-used again and again.
