Hi I like the way u group your plants and leave plenty of free space around.
But then things will change when the stem plants start to grow like weeds eh?
Wish I had the tank space to do spacious layouts like this.
Pictures of my 4ft tank
Currently just playing around and experimenting with a couple of plants.
There's a bare area behind the log, but actually I just removed my Ulvaseus and put my Ozelot plantlet...hehe...
Got lots more plantlets coming out![]

How old is your tank?
Plant heavily...or else you might get more trouble then you can cope...[] Algae will love you more![] Basically, you need as much fast growing plants in there to absorb all the nutrients in the water column that is leached from the base fert and from dying plants. Remove them if you want to after the tank has settled down...but do it slowly...

No worries Peter, my tank is already 6 months old. Plants are well established. No leaching of base fert.----------------

I previously did have a bad case of hair algae on my Java Moss, so I redid the whole moss.
Oh, the foreground looks kinda bare cos it used to be filled with E. tennellus, but now I'm trying out glosso.
Glosso is a big attraction for algae like BBA...just make sure you get your nutrient balance right. [] ..its too easy to grow. []

Nice spacious layout! maybe you should throw in a nice RTG aro to swim arnd in the space! []
Humble 4ft tank?... I bet you must be a proud owner of such nice tank.[]
It take you just 6 months! It took me longer to get the hang of things.
Well done... keep it up!

Thank you for everyone's comments. But I realised through playing around with planted tanks that it's very interesting to play around with different plants.
Haha, I used to have a RTG, but I don't think I'll every go into arowana planted tank. I'll have a heart attack if the aro destroys the nice layout in the tank....----------------
