White "Dot" jumping on Shrimps Tank Wall.

Hi,

I saw lot a lot of these "White Dot" jerking around the tank and "jumping" on the tank wall. But can only see them after I off my light and on again after a while.

But they will disappear after I on my lights for 5 mins.

What are these "creatures", are they harmful to my shrimps?

I think they are water fleas. They are not harmful to your shrimps. They actually shows that your water quality is great.

Water fleas as you describe it, but they are usually light loving and appears on the surface when the light is on.

eh some people usually call it Seed Shrimps. Its normal to have it if your water quality is good.

Since it is harmless, I will leave it alone, else will have to suck them out of the tank.
