As stated above, where can I find Daphnia Magna? I'm thinking of culturing them in the future and want to start making plans now..
Reason for choosing this species is because they are bigger and thus can also be used to feed slightly older fry to small fish too..![]()

Eh.. Not sure what they call it.. The problem with smaller species of daphnia is the netting and feeding to feed part.. Don't want to use anything that will take in water the daphnia are in with the daphnia when trying to feed.. I'm afraid the water might not be clean.. Then can't find and ultra-fine netting..
Go and get a nylon coffee strainer, the kind used for coffee percolators.
It's surely fine enough to filter Monia.

It should be fine if you raise fry in big tank like 2 feet or more. Or it should be fine because you tend to do water change daily because raise fry - need to do daily water change

Nope.. Have not manage to find any.. Recently have being busy too.. So can't do much exploring.. Next Next Sunday may be going to Pasir Ris Farmway.. Will comb through that place if I do go..
