perhaps 6x36 may be a better wattage as oppose to 4x36. all you need is enough gravel to make a 1 inch average of your base fert. In another words, its better to spend on base fert then gravel....

Hi, what about a co2 set? The price of a co2 set (cylinder, solenoid(manual regulator will be cheaper), glass diffuser, bubble counter) starts from $150+ I think.

just an observation of my part, aqua decor gravel is kinda sharp and definitely not as clean as i would like it to be ... lonestar is a much better choice since they are almost the same and lonestar is really clean!!! ... no need to wash also can use![]()
i noticed this cos i have lots of corydoras catfish and these fish cannot take sharp gravel ... so my aqua decor is now not used ... anyone wants?![]()
... always look at the bright side of life![]()
i keep loaches and use 20 kg of aqua decor, 5kg of crushed corals, 2 kg of pea gravel. No problem. Though washing is a problem. It is so dirty that I bled trying to wash.
