4X2X2 planted tank with sump

Three weeks after my first attempt to come back to this hobby again after more than 20 years. I started this hobby when i was in pri school.

From left to the right of the tank









Keeping mainly tetras like rummy nose, cardinal and etc.

Im not a very artistic person so execuse me for the non-artistic scaping. Need to thank my pal for helping me to setup.

Won't a sump cause too much lost in dissolved CO2?

Think its okay so far.. just have to top up the cyclinder more frequently.

No chiller as i keep mainly tetras... Will take a pic of the sump later today...

If you want to go for automation, you could have a set of dosing pump in the cabinet that feed into the sump. An auto water top-up can be set in the cabinet too. Why do you need so much sponge in the 1st compartment?

M more hands on person i guess would consider automation later, thanks for the suggestions BFG. On the sponge thingy... i just laid them and dump those smaller ones into the sump. No specific reasons.

Yes i agreed, i do miss those non digital days where things are alot more easier and simpler. Have to go through crash course from my good friend to get back to this. Big thanks to my pal for patiently guiding me along...
